Necessary, but a little bit boring - here are all the Terms and Conditions (Ts & Cs) that apply when you’re placing an order with Homage to the Bovine. Don’t worry - you’re in good hands, and we’re not going to do anything dodgy with the details you give us! 

Intro

Thank you for visiting Homage to the Bovine, the aim of the site is to give you a valuable user experience, offering you the opportunity to purchase our products, read up about us and also find information on areas of interest. By visiting the site you are agreeing to the conditions set out from here on in, if at any time you do not agree then unfortunately we will have to part ways :( (don’t worry, it’s just a load of legal, paper work, mumbo jumbo he he).

1. Placing an Order & Your Personal Details

  • To place an order and become a customer, you must be over 18 years old, have an acceptable credit or debit card via PayPal and be able to collect during the stated times/dates. Ts & Cs apply from the moment you place an order and we reserve the right to decline an order.

  • To place an order, you will need to give us various personal details. In accordance with GDPR rules, we will hold your personal details in absolute confidentiality and only use them to contact you directly about your order, or to keep you updated about our products (if you have given us permission to contact you about promotions etc).

2. Our Contract With You

  • A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided, if the email address has been entered incorrectly, then we cannot be held responsible for you not receiving your confirmation email. It is your duty to check and enter your email address correctly.

  • Once the confirmation email is received, your order will be in process. If you need to change an item, amend collection or cancel your order, you have 24 hours after the confirmation email has been received to do so. You may do this by contacting us. After the 24 hours has passed, your order cannot be cancelled, if there is something categorically wrong, please email us and we will do our best to sort it out.

3. Collection, Delivery & Exports

  • Collection dates and dispatches are stated on our products and you will receive a confirmation and reminder email before the stated collection dates. We reserve the right to change days and times for collection, but promise we will let you know if we have to do this! 

  • Delivery is with our local Depot of APC and covers Mainland England Zone 0.  We do not offer any exports.  All other UK areas will require bespoke pricing and estimations of delivery times, so you will need to contact us to see if this is possible and we will check with our designated couriers.  Please allow ample time if you have a date in mind to receive your product as bespoke delivery will take some organising.

4. Our Liability
Outlined below is what we will not accept liability for:

  1. Goods that are over or under weight than stated. While we make every effort to cut your order as precisely as possible, we cannot guarantee exact weights. Our tolerance is +/- 7.5%.

  2. Deterioration of goods due to you not refrigerating the produce upon collection. It is your responsibility to refrigerate goods as soon as you get them home. We recommend if you are using within one week you can pop straight to fridge, if not then straight to freezer.  Please thoroughly thaw your beef in the fridge until all parts are defrosted before commencing cooking.  All frozen produce should be consumed within 6 months of freezing. 

  3. We do not accept responsibility for death, personal injury or ill health resulting from ingestion of our products.

  4. We do not accept responsibility Indirect or consequential loss of profits arising from our supply or failure to supply goods.

  5. We shall have no liability to you or any third party for any damages of any kind based on warranty, contract, tort (inc. negligence) or otherwise. Your legal rights as a consumer are protected.

5. Trade

  • Homage to the Bovine will not be held responsible for any liability arising from the use of any of our products within the commercial sense. Once delivered or purchased, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the products are kept fresh, used within the appropriate time frame and cooked properly (within the guidelines of the FSA). After the point of sale, Homage to the Bovine will not assume any liability for any wrongdoing to a third party.

7. Overall (Ts & Cs)

  • We reserve the right to alter your order and replace items in such instances where there is a lack of supply - we will always make sure that the sum of the replacement is equal to or more than the sum of the purchased item, or that you are refunded.

  • Events out of our control that incur delays or failures to supply will not be liable to us.

  • We do accept any liability for any inaccuracies, errors and/or omissions relating to our product information, images, description, price information and colour/shape discrepancies.

  • We reserve the right to change our policies, Ts & Cs and our website at any time.
